Part 1:
Introduction to art of flower pressing
We’ll start with a crash course on pressing technique. Sasha will bring her recycled materials press that is handmade and explain how to build a press. She will show all materials needed for pressing flowers, and show how to press a few different varieties of flowers.
Students will learn a few tricks and secrets of successful flower pressing and storing pressed flowers.
This part will take about 20-30 minutes.
Part 2:
“Paint your Christmas collage with pressed flowers”
Make you own Christmas Botanical collage (8x10”) ready to frame.
Sasha will provide all necessary materials:
Watercolour paper
Coloured paper
Hand pressed local flowers and other botanical elements.
Brushes, glue and frames
All necessary tools
And of course, most importantly gently guide through creating a piece of art ready to frame.
We’ll talk about composition, how to embrace your creative selves and create your own unique art.

No Returns or Refunds for Classes
Due to the nature of our classes and the preparation involved, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for classes once purchased. Each class is carefully planned, and materials are prepared in advance to ensure the best experience for our students.
Why We Don’t Offer Returns:
- Class Size & Scheduling: We limit the number of participants in each class to ensure a personalised and hands-on learning experience. When a spot is reserved, it prevents others from attending.
- Materials & Preparation: We order specific materials for each student, including clay, glazes, and tools, which cannot be reused or resold if a student cancels.
In Case of Emergencies or Unexpected Circumstances:
We understand that life happens! If you are unable to attend a class due to an emergency or unavoidable circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot offer a refund, we may be able to offer the option to reschedule your class for a future date, depending on availability.
