Art Studio Space on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

About the Studio
In December 2024, McRae Atelier opened its doors in Dayspring, a small community on the Lahave River in Nova Scotia. Owners Stacey and Tayte McRae, a potter and a jeweller, have over 15 years of experience in running and operating arts organizations, galleries as well as community studios alongside their own. Making the leap to open their own Atelier (studio & gallery combined) was the next step in their journey.
Together, Tayte and Stacey believe in the value a positive creative community can have on it’s surrounding area. Not only to promote the health and wellbeing of creatives but to enliven the community around them as well.
Both artists grew up in rural Alberta with little access to arts or an understanding of what being an artist could look like. Each of them had key people in their lives that sparked curiosity in the adventure of becoming an artist and have spent most of their adult lives finding opportunities to pay it forward.
McRae Atelier is a pottery and jewellery studio offering dedicated studio space to artists wishing to pursue their practice.
